From Rafael Nuñez Airport, you should head to the transportation terminal and take a bus to San Onofre. This journey will take about 2 hours and 20 minutes. Upon arrival, you should take a motorcycle or a car that will take you to the hostel. There is also the option of Uber, which picks you up at the airport door (only in Cartagena) and takes you to the hostel door. This is a separate service from us. The hostel will provide you with Uber information, and you will have to contact them directly to arrange the arrival time and price.

The bus from each city to San Onofre costs approximately 40,000 - 50,000 COP, and the transportation from San Onofre to Rincón del Mar has an approximate price of 12,000 - 15,000 COP by motorcycle and 40,000 COP by car. The journey from San Onofre to Rincón del Mar takes approximately 30 minutes.

This tour starts at 5:30 pm. You will be picked up on the beach of the hostel and taken to the island of Los Pájaros to see the sunset. As it gets darker, you will be taken on a boat not far from the coast, passing through a mangrove and arriving at the place where you can get off and swim while the bioluminescent plankton shines around you. NOTE: this activity can ONLY be done when there is no moon. We recommend to our guests who are only interested in this activity to take into account the lunar calendar.

This beautiful activity is for both experienced and beginner divers. If you are a beginner or have never done this activity, you will have the option of taking the mini-course, where they will teach you the fundamental things so that you have safe dives and can enjoy this beautiful underwater world. We are a hostel that DOES NOT offer food service, but we have a large and well-equipped kitchen so you can prepare whatever you want. We have a refrigerator divided for each room as well as a pantry where you can leave your food. In the town (San Onofre) you can find grocery stores such as Ara, D1, and Olímpica. If you do not want to bring the groceries from the town, you can buy them at the Rincón del Mar stores, where you will find everything you need to prepare your food. For those who do not want to cook, behind and on the sides of the hostel, you will find fast food and typi- cal food restaurants. Our recommendation is to cook breakfast at the hostel, as it would be cheaper and buy the rest of the meals (lunch and dinner) at local restaurants. Prices at restaurants vary depending on the place and the dish you choose. You can find dishes starting from 25,000 COP and up.

No, Rincón del Mar is a town that does not have an aqueduct or a good electrical infrastructure. Resources such as water and electricity are limited and intermittent. We recommend the responsible use of them. We recommend you bring water for your consumption.
We have this service in most of the rooms, except for the bedroom on the third floor. The air conditioning will be enabled from 7:00 pm until 8:00 am the next day.
